20 Catalytic Hope Quotes

20 Catalytic Hope Quotes by Steve Backlund

I have invested much of my life to understand hope, experience hope, and share it with others. I have come to know that hope is not just a perspective we can have in life, but it is who God is. I believe, after love, it is the most important quality for influence and catalytic leadership. It would be difficult to overemphasize the importance of hope. Because of that, I am thrilled to announce my new book, Igniting Hope in 40 Days. It is a devotional with some of my latest hope revelations. We are combining this book with daily videos for a special opportunity in January.

40 Days of Hope Starts on January 3 – We have an incredible hope-igniting opportunity to start the new year. It combines my new 40 day devotional book, Igniting Hope in 40 Days, with a short video from me for each day to take the written content to another level. This devotional is ideal for personal growth and breakthrough, or to do with another person or group. You can find out more details about 40 Days of Hope here

As we are getting ready to enter a new year, I want to share my best hope quotes that I often repeat. May your hope be ignited as you read through this list:

  • Hope is the belief that the future will be better than the present and I have the power to help make it so.
  • Hope is an overall optimistic attitude about the future based on the goodness and promises of God.
  • Hope is the confident, joyful expectancy that good is coming.
  • Our hope level determines our influence level, and the person with the most hope has the most influence.
  • Increasing hope is the evidence we are renewing our minds with truth and not lies.
  • Our hope level is the indicator of whether we are believing lies or truth.
  • I am not into positive thinking, but I am into biblical optimism.
  • Hope for the future gives power and purpose to the present.
  • I do not trust any thought or conclusion in my life that does not have hope attached to it.
  • God loves to partner with unreasonably optimistic people.
  • If our Bible reading does not bring hope, we are probably not interpreting the Word correctly.
  • Any area of life that does not glisten with hope is under the influence of a lie and that area is a stronghold of the devil in my life.
  • My future is as bright as the promises of God.
  • Hope is the safety net for when what we believe for in faith does not happen.
  • A perspective of hope is what makes our faith healthy.
  • Faith people with hope believe they have many options, while faith people without hope believe their options for the future are limited.
  • God said, “Steve, I give you permission to be hopeless about anything I am hopeless about”.
  • Whenever you find true hope, you will also find all joy and peace.
  • There are no hopeless circumstances; only people without hope.
  • My hopelessness about something is almost always a bigger problem than that something.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” Romans 15:13.
